HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Director Jim Powers and his casts and crews have nabbed 11 nominations at the 2026 XMAs.
Major nominations include Director of the Year — Individual Work, Best Art Direction, and Best Trans Movie for “Transpirella;” Best Comedy Movie for “The Fucket List;” Best Trans Movie for “Trans Carwash;” and Director of the Year — Body of Work (Narrative), among others.
“My team and I put out some incredible content this year, especially ‘Transpirella,’ which I had been wanting to do for years,” Powers said. “It came out exactly as I envisioned it, was well received by fans, and has received a slew of nominations, which makes me really happy. Thank you, Gender X, for letting me make it, and XBIZ for recognizing our hard work.”
The 2026 XMA Awards will recognize the best in the industry on Sunday, Jan. 18, at the historic Hollywood Palladium. In keeping with tradition, select award categories under Web & Technology, Pleasure Products, and Retail will be presented at the two editions of the annual XBIZ Honors ceremonies.
